Military IT & Cyber Leadership Awards

The annual Military IT & Cyber Leadership Awards Dinner recognizes outstanding enlisted and officer service members across each of the Services and the Joint community for their contributions to IT and Cyber Security excellence. 

This elegant event, with approximately 250 military, civilian and industry members, is a salute to our information technology and cyber security warfighters for their service and dedication, and recognizes the contributions and sacrifices they have made in defending our nation. AFCEA Washington, DC recognizes a member from each branch of the military that has made a significant contribution to the warfighter through the use of information technology and cyber security. This recognition will be given to one enlisted & one officer from each of the Armed Services (U.S. Army, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Coast Guard, and U.S. Space Force). Four additional awards – two officers and two enlisted – will be presented to service members assigned to a joint billet during the time of their demonstrated leadership. Additionally, two awards will recognize National Guard members for their service and leadership.Special consideration will be given for decisive bravery.

Award recipients receive recognition from AFCEA Washington, DC identifying their contribution. The recipients are then recognized by their peers in the military and government information technology community – government, industry and academia – at the Military IT & Cyber Leadership Awards Dinner.

Nominations for the 19th Annual Military IT & Cyber Awards are Open through Sunday, March 1, 2026.
